Our Snapshot

Globe-Miami is the heart of the Cobre (Spanish for Copper) Valley, located at the base of the foothills of the Pinal Mountains- approximately 3,500 feet in elevation.  It is located 87 miles east of Phoenix and 106 miles north of Tucson.  The region maintains cooler temperatures and more precipitation than its metropolitan neighbors. It also maintains warmer winter temperatures than its rural mountain neighbors. The two cities are located along four major highways and a railway which has made it a gateway for travelers going from Arizona’s major metropolitan areas to the White Mountains, Roosevelt Lake and the San Carlos Apache Reservation. In spite of the busy traveling through the community, it continues to maintain its identity as a small town with great landscapes, friendly neighborhoods and a rich history.
